About us
Café Blue was opened in 2005 by David and Jane Wright after they moved from the UK to New Zealand with their three children. They previously ran a very successful delicatessen and catering company for 14 years. David is in charge of the kitchen and Jane oversees the restaurant. Café Blue is located in a delightful orchard garden with childrens playground. There is ample car parking out front.
Where we are
We are a three and a half hour drive north of Auckland on State Highways 1 and 10 and are located between Bay of Islands Airport and Kerikeri town centre. Coming from the south (Auckland or Paihia) on SH10, turn right at the roundabout signposted to Kerikeri and we are almost immediately on the left-hand side. Coming from the north (Doubtless Bay and Cape Reinga) turn left at the roundabout (second signpost to Kerikeri). Kerikeri town centre is less than a five minute drive further on.
